So what does that title mean?
It means, I’m chasing a dream of peace with my life.
Are you really a Christian?
Okay, I don’t like to categorize too much because aren’t we Christians pretty much the same? We all worship the same God, right? But you asked so I’ll bite: I am an Independent Baptist.
November 2015. I was raised for the most part as a Roman Catholic but as I mention in my blog, I wasn’t fully indoctrinated until I was in my 20s. This caused me to have some struggles and in 2014, between the struggles and the local chapter of Catholic Daughters of the Americas and their bulling, I left. I tried to join an Episcopal church with negative results (I have forgave them) and in 2015, I decided to join my mother’s church. I actually talk about it in several blogs.
And it’s really just you running it?
Who are you?
Hi, I’m Marie. I am a writer who is trying to make sense of life. I volunteer at a hospital and I am battling the nerve disorder Complex Regional Pain Syndrome: Type I.
I’m getting a Nerdfighter vibe from you. Are you a Nerdfighter?
Yes, I am. I even have DFTBA tattooed on my wrist.
What does DFTBA mean? I see that a lot on your blog.
It’s an initialism for Don’t Forget To Be Awesome. You know what? You should read my blog on being a Christian Nerdfighter. I not only discuss some of the stuff about Nerdfighteria but I also argue the point that being a Christian and a Nerdfighter is an awesome thing.
